Evangelion PC-game, Girlfriend of Steel Fan translated

Woot here in halifax now, just got back from watching Snakes on a Plane(Go Samuel L Jackson).
Oddly enough my relatives get a much better connection then me for free =S, darn community promotional packs.
Anyway, here’s an Evangelion PC game, girlfriend of steel, which is bassically a virtual novel, but it has the same story amount as any OVA, and anything that adds to Eva should be greatly welcomed.

  2. You need to choose full install or a cd is required to access content.

  4. I dunno, I have no such errors, you could always try keeping it mounted after installation.

  8. Why can I not see the any of the choices in normal text? All I’m getting are sqaure symbols. Is there an installation or computer issue?

  12. I unzipped the files with winrar but after i open them with nti cd maker i dont know what to do can somebody help me

  13. What I did was just put all of the unarchived files onto a CD, then use that CD when it asked for “Disk A”. It worked fine for me.

  15. It’s an archived file. If I remember right, you need to have WinRAR to unarchive it. It costs money, but you can download a free trial here: http://www.rarlab.com/

  18. Hmm… I’m not sure about that. I didn’t have any problems with bmp pics. Did you burn _all_ of the files to CD?

  19. Hey I am having the same problem can anyone help? I installed all the files to a cd then did a full install on the hard drive. I open the file and it says, “Error reading from the disk” ..I then choose the option “Give up and continue”. It then shows a windows error alert and says “textbmp.dat, textbmp.txt not found”. However they are clearly in the textbmp folders. Still no go. If anyone can help me please email me at jahnjayatilaka@hotmail.com I would appreciate it greatly.

  20. ^^^ also to add to that. I forgot to mention that when I click ok to the windows alert, the game starts, however no music is played and no text is shown, instead at every point when the characters are supposed to say something an error keeps popping up, I click on and the game continues however nothing is shown someone please help!

  23. Try emulating the girlfriend of steel while its in the rar file and then install the game.

  29. I typed in a few terms in google specifically looking for this game, which led me to this site.

    I thought there were going to be huge problems installing and running the game based on some of the comments I read but I unpacked the file without a hitch, I mounted the .iso image and installed the game without a problem, I burned the image onto a CD without a problem. I really don’t see why everyone’s having such a hard time with this.
